Kamer in Utrecht - Huize Ahornstraat

V/X 24+ | 7th of april | Internationals welcome (English below) But please note: * No registration possible * Hospi date: Wednesday 25th of March 19:00 - 21:00, please only respond if you’re available Room: 11+4m2 and +/-€510 Lieve lezers, Op de Ahornstraat in Ondiep Utrecht staat een knus rijtjeshuis, met 5 fijne kamers. Vanaf 7 april komt 1 hiervan vrij. Of eigenlijk 2 (1 grote slaapkamer van 11m2 met inbouwkast en 1 er direct naast van +/- 4m2). Allebei op de eerste verdieping aan de voorkant van het huis met fijn veel daglicht. We delen hier alle voorzieningen: een woonkamer, keuken, een vaatwasser, een mini-badkamer, maar ook lief en leed. Het huis is compleet met postzegel-voor en achtertuin, de bus voor de deur richting centrum, Uithof en de rest van de wereld, maar met de fiets sta je ook binnen 5 minuten in het centrum. Ons huis bestaat uit Muk (27), Moos (27), Luna (26), Anna (28) en Siebel (🐱). Afgelopen jaren hebben in dit huis meerdere internationals gewoond en was de voertaal Engels, hier staan we wederom voor open, hoewel er momenteel dus geen inschrijving beschikbaar is (Max. 3/5) Zodra iemand vertrekt, schuift deze door! Over ons: We hebben een gesloten deuren beleid en storen elkaar niet op onze kamers, want je komt ook thuis voor je rust. Maar we zien elkaar vaak genoeg in de keuken of woonkamer voor onze eerste kop koffie en eten regelmatig samen. In de zomer spelen we hele avonden spelletjes in de achtertuin tot we de kaarten niet meer kunnen zien, zelfs met de lichtjes en kaarsen aan. We vinden het belangrijk om in elkaar leven betrokken te zijn. Ook hebben we wat creatievelingen in huis, en klussen en kringlopen we onze inboedel gezellig bij elkaar. Doordeweeks vind je ons regelmatig op de grote hoekbank in de woonkamer. We kijken slechte, of juist hele goeie films, spelen een potje Bonanza of Take5, drinken een wijntje, of gaan de deur uit naar de kroeg of een obscuur evenement bij de Nijverheid/Nar. Wij werken allemaal en hebben bijv. relaties in andere steden, je weet nooit of je thuis iedereen aantreft, of helemaal niemand. Maar we zijn allemaal graag thuis en zoeken elkaar geregeld op. As of April 7th, one of these will become available. Or actually two: one large bedroom of 11m² with a built‑in closet, and a smaller one right next to it of about 4m². Both are on the first floor at the front of the house, with plenty of natural daylight. We share all facilities here: a living room, kitchen, dishwasher, a tiny bathroom, and also the ups and downs of life. The house comes complete with a front and back garden, a bus stop right outside that takes you to the city centre, the Uithof, and the rest of the world,though by bike you’ll be in the centre within five minutes. Our household consists of Muk (27), Moos (27), Luna (26), Anna (28), and Siebel (🐱). Over the past years, several internationals have lived here and English was the main language. We’re open to that again, although at the moment registration at this address isn’t possible (max. 3/5). As soon as someone moves out, that spot becomes available. About us: We have a closed‑door policy and don’t disturb each other in our rooms. Home is also a place to rest ofcourse! But we see each other often enough in the kitchen or living room for our first cup of coffee, and we regularly eat together.During summer, we spend entire evenings playing games in the backyard until we can’t see the cards anymore, even with the fairy lights and candles on. We find it important to be involved in each other’s lives. We also have a few creative souls in the house, and we DIY and thrift our furniture together. During the week, you’ll often find us on the big corner sofa in the living room. We watch terrible, or very good, movies, play a round of Bonanza or Take5, have a glass of wine, or head out to a bar or some obscure event at De Nijverheid/Nar. We all work and some of us have partners in other cities, so you never know whether you’ll find everyone at home or no one at all. But we all enjoy being home and we seek each other out regularly.
